The Stage Nine road crew had an exciting journey from its headquarters in West Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV to install TOYTOPIA at the Wilbur D. May Center. We were excited because this was our first install in the snow. Not anticipated, however, was the added difficulty in unloading 53' semi trailers and transporting 1000+ lb exhibit pieces over a completely iced-in parking lot with a forklift. With ample help from the museum crew and weather, we were able to get the job done with minimal delay! Despite the weather, it was definitely an install to remember.

TOYTOPIA opens at the Wilbur D. May Center on January 21st, 2017.
