EXPEDITION: DINOSAUR
165 million years in the making, Expedition Dinosaur combines life-size, lifelike animatronic dinosaurs with realistic movements and sound with fascinating and educational interactive experiences. Walk alongside Stegosaurus, Amargasaurus, Velociraptor, Albertosaurus, Triceratops, and more. Now everyone can explore the realm of dinosaurs like never before.
We take visitors from the early days of Edward Drinker Cope and Othniel Charles Marsh's "Bone Wars" and the pioneering work of explorer Roy Chapman Andrews, to today's cutting edge technology. This immersive exhibit will take visitors on an educational journey they will never forget.
Expedition: Dinosaur was curated by paleontologist Dr. Thomas E. Williamson.
Explore topics like:
What tools paleontologists use to search and excavate fossils
How the dinosaur digestive tract likely functioned
What the supercontinent Pangea once looked like
Fossilized eggs and what paleontologists can uncover from them
